  1. We sell a rowing …
We sell a rowing kit for inflatable kayaks. I agree — rowing is great for the shoulders and paddling is not. The rowing kit uses the same oars as those used for steering, but a different system for the oarlocks.

  3. Hey Jim, I was …
Hey Jim, I was wondering if with the oar steering kit on the kayaks, would that be able to be moved up on the boat to be used for rowing as well? Paddling always tears up the shoulders on the kayak, and it would be great to get a rowing system on one if it’s possible.

No. First, don’t get out in the open sea in any small sailboat. A bay or harbor is fine. The Caravelle is pretty stable. With 2 or more people, it’s very stable.

This rig works great! I own it too — got it from my husband for my birthday in Aug., per my impassioned request, LOL. Still sailing in Oct. and enjoying the New Hampshire fall foliage. I have it on my 11′ Super Caravelle, and it’s so stable I feel very safe even in cool weather. Jim is great about replying to emails too. Very much a class act!

  8. I love my …
I love my SailboatsToGo sail rig!!! I bought it from Jim Luckett along w/ the 10 foot Sevylor K105 and it’s a great little boat. I also use the rig on a 9 foot Sevylor K85 and a TuckTech TOTE-N-BOAT folding canoe. The rig construction is rock solid…it will last for years. It’s great to be able to sail w/o the hassles and costs of “regular” boats. The rig and boats take up very little room in my basement. It’s easy to throw it all in the car and head out to sail. Thanks Jim!!!
